Frequently asked

Real answers.

What is your service area?+

Sacramento and surrounding areas including Granite Bay, El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, Carmichael, and Fair Oaks. Call us if you do not see your city.

Who is the licensed contractor on my project?+

One of two paths. (1) Projects we take in-house are performed under CSLB License #XXXXXXX, held by our Responsible Managing Officer. (2) Projects we route to a partner contractor are performed by that contractor, who is independently CSLB-licensed and verified by us before they ever see your job. Either way, the contractor of record is California-licensed and bonded, and you'll see that license # on the contract before you sign. You can verify any California contractor at cslb.ca.gov.

Are you licensed and insured?+

In-house projects are performed under CSLB #XXXXXXX with general liability and workers compensation insurance and the California contractor's bond. Partner contractors carry their own license, insurance, and bond, which we verify before sending them any work.

How fast can you start?+

Walk-in shower projects typically begin within 2-3 weeks of contract signing. Larger bathroom and outdoor projects start 3-5 weeks out.

Do you offer financing?+

Yes. We partner with Hearth, Acorn Finance, and Service Finance. Most homeowners qualify for terms from 24-84 months with quick approval and no impact to credit at application.

Do you handle permits?+

Yes. We pull all required plumbing, electrical, and building permits as part of the project, on your behalf.

What is your payment schedule?+

Per California law (BPC 7159), maximum 10 percent or $1,000 down (whichever is less). We then bill at clearly defined milestones. Final 10 percent on acceptance.

What is your warranty?+

Lifetime workmanship warranty on tile and waterproofing. Fixtures, glass, and appliances carry manufacturer warranties (typically 5-10 years).

What if the project goes over budget?+

Our quotes include itemized allowances for selectable items (tile, fixtures, hardware). The only way the price changes is if you change scope or upgrade materials beyond the allowance. We always get your written approval before any change order.

Do I need to move out during the project?+

No. We typically work in one zone at a time. We coordinate carefully if there is only one bathroom in the home.

Can you show me a finished project before I sign?+

Yes. With the homeowner's permission, we can arrange a walk-through of a recently completed project in your area.
